MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,
allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
I wanted to create a Master Spool set of files that was able to print on build plates with 150mm build plate dimensions. For this I split the original file into 4 parts: middle section (Part 4) plus 3 outer sections (Part 1-3).
The outer sections are connected with each other at the outer rim with small filament pieces (approx. 2 cm) and with the middle section either by a filament piece or an M3 countersunk screw.
if you want to utilize a M3 screw you will need to widen the hole (currently only 2.1mm) and create the M3 thread.
For the Part A you will need 6x M3x16, for the Part B you will need 6x M3x6 or M3x8.
