I am struggling with the third piece, any advice?
Ender-3 and the first 2 pieces came out flawless.
I scaled down just a bit but cannot seem to get this third piece to work right.
any help is appreciated

I assume you mean "Part_3.stl"
Can you show exactly what goes wrong?

I think I solved my own issue actually. I was printing flat the way it loads in the "creality slicing program". this should be turned facing upwards?
Thank you for your quick response

Hi I’m about to start printing this model soon on my Ender 3 Pro at 270% and I’m just wondering if you think at that size if it might need supports and thank you for pre slicing the model that’s awesome of you.

Hi

Normaly you don't need supports.
Just remember to allways rotate the part so the largest flat area rests on your buildbed (pointing upwards)
It should print fine then.

hay buddy, a handful of people from reddit have reached out to me to make this product for them and some of them are wanting to tip me. If i do end up getting a tip, i wanted to let you know i plan on tipping you as well a good chunk of what i get.

Hi thnx a whole lot, Nice of you to wanting to do that!

If you encounter any problems when printing the parts please let me know immediately.

I'll do whatever possible to help.

Hope it all works out and hope you will share some pictures of the final model.

David

thank you! so far ive printed one copy of part 1 working on part 2 now. if im printing at the orignal size you put on your files what size should i make the stand you have listed below?

I printed my stand at 2x the original size.
I also printed my venator at 2x size. At that scale the total size is about 45 cm
I could have printed the stand at 1x and that also would have worked fine i think

I original printed this stand for the imperial star destroyer but i use it for different models for taking pics for thingiverse.

awesome ill try that. are you sure that part 3 doesnt need supports? there is that whole in the middle on the bottom side.

Yes i printed it without support. The printer should be able to bridge the distance.
Offcourse it all depends on what scale you are printing. The bigger scale, the bigger the hole :)

If you are not sure you can allways use some supports

You are correct it came out great. By chance do you have a copy of the step file for it? I wanna make a couple of extrusions on the flat ends so I have a couple of mm of wiggle room to sand with. The STL file has to many faces for me to edit easily

No i'm sorry, I don't have such a file..
I remixed this model from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1716031

SW Emperial Venator Class Star Destroyer

What program did you use to cut the files in the 4 pieces? And did you use the STL or obj file

I mainly use "Raise3D Ideamaker"

It's a slicer but you can also load models and scale, rotate, cut, combine and repair them

Sometimes i also use "3D builder" which is standard is windows 10

I allways use the ST-files

My favorite star wars ship Thanks for uploading a amazing model!!!

wish this model had panel lines :(

What scale did you use for that model in your picture?

Hi

I printed this model in 2x size

Total length is 45 cm

No stand file included?

I used this one for the photo :

It's not made for the venator but it fits.
You have to resize it to fit the size of the venator you printed.

Star Destroyer display stand

Thanks, I printed the default size you included in the files.

Well done, it looks magnificent ; ) Cheers Jace
