Any specific type of screws? I see the length but nothing else about it. Im afraid of splitting the model.

Im sorry for the miscommunication. For one, forgot 3,5 = to 3.5 for me. That was my fault for misreading. But what I meant was what type of screws such as Wood Screws, Machine Screws, Sheetrock, ect.


definitely wood screws. PLA / ABS is easy to screw together with wood screws.


The front clamping block seems to be corrupted. Anyway you could re-upload it?

Interesting. Downloading the front clamping part individually worked. But downloading the entire bundle is comes corrupted

I'm new to printing and don't use use a lot of filament and have to keep my printer in my garage in a high humidity area, so something like this is perfect for me. I was thinking of trying to make it more modular so it could include more than 6 colors, like 1 color per box so you could have as many boxes as you like.

I am curious if you use anything to keep the box dry though? Like rice, or those silicon ball packets? Damp Rid(the stuff for closets I think)? Seems like some humidity would make its way in the tubing or imperfect seals, so keeping something to absorb moisture would make it work better than not. If you do use something, what is it?

Very cool project though either way, definitely on my todo list.

I use regenerable Silicagel bags.

With the tubing or the connectors, I don't think that much moisture gets in. But of course it depends on the surroundings. My printer is in a rather dry cellar.

I use silica gel bags in the box to keep the humidity as low as possible.
Of course you can choose another ( smaller) box. You just have to check if the filament cassette fits if you want to use it.

the box I use didn't really fit. I had to cut off parts of the lid and close it with a straight plate and silicone.

Do you have a link to the 6mm tubing? Im assuming 6mm is the outer diameter. Whats the inner diameter?
