I know/see that it uses a spring on the clip part of it. However, in the STL files, and the views above, I do not see a nub for the spring to fit over on the actual holster itself. I see one on the underside of the button. How does it stay in place on the actual holster?

The shape of the spring keeps it in place, it dosn't go anywhere. Button nub is all you need, but feel free to modify the original project if you want.

Nice work!
I want to make this work with the Tek-Lock mount maybe using a dovetail.
could you upload the source files?

Stl files can be imported and edited, but here you are, I uploaded my sketchup project, please share your modifications on thingivers as a derived project, maybe I'll use them, have fun :)
