Hello man awesome design...Could someone print and sell these keychain knives?

Great print. I've made them in PLA and PETG and they work well. I recommend at least 10% infill minimum. A version without the ruler and KUT name would be nice to save print time.

kvind het wel kut datr n scheldwoord op mot staan eigelijk..

ja nogal Kut inderdaad :P

Fantastic design! I printed 30 of them and gave them as Christmas presents. Thanks for the upload.

I use this just about every day. It's perfect for at my desk, and printer.

Probably printed about 6 of these for friends.

Thank you!

I printed your 3D,

however, there is a small problem.
The loch does not go all the way up and is stopped by the left side
The lock breaks when you pass it through.
Have made a small change by slightly increasing the left side.

work fine now

Hello Martindewarrd

Thank you for your interest in my design. I believe you may have pulled the locking tab upwards instead of pushing it into the blade.
Try pushing the locking tab into the tool to release the blade. I have designed the tool in a way so that the locking tab will be blocked
by the left section of the upper guide if the blade is forced from behind. You could have a look at the video that I have posted in post printing section of this thing. If you have any more queries feel free to send me a message.

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!

Perfect little tool. Thanks for sharing

Brilliant. on my printing list

Great little tool. This kind of thing is the exact reason I bought a 3d printer. Awesome design. Thanks!

convenient tool, you can also read on it what to shout when you cut yourself (i am Dutch :))
in Dutch "kut" means something like "f*ck"

Thanks for such a great design! I am having some strange Issues trying to print. I when I try to slice with Simplify3D, the object becomes half the thickness and floating above the bed. When I do a "Reset Position", I find that half the model is below the print bed and half is above. Very odd! I bump it up manually to sit on the bed with no gap but when I prepare to print, its again half the thickness and floating...

Do you have any idea what might be happening? I suspect it has something to do with the origin where the initial drawing starts in the cad too, but cant say for sure. Any help is appreciated. It's a great design!

Hello deanwesterburg
Thank you for supporting my design. I am not that familiar with Simplify3D, but I have tried slicing the model in 2 software (Repetier-Host, Cura) and both models did not require any re-alignment or positional adjustments. I have googled your problem and one possible solution could be to untick "Automatically center & arrange imported models" in the Models tab of General Options, and try importing again. I have posted the link below. Hope it helps.

What Kevin means to say is that KUT is a swear word for a womans private parts in Dutch. And a very rude one at that.

This makes me like the model even more!

I printed this up today, came out really nicely, however, using genuine Stanley 11-921 (No 1992) blades prevents the clip from holding the blade in place when fuly retracted. It seems it needs just a tiny bit more space to fit.

Hello hearnia_2k
Thank you for notifying me about the issue. I have already uploaded a set of files where the lockbar was extended by 1mm, please let me know if you still have any blade fitment issues with the new files. Could you also give me the top and bottom length of your blade. I was using 2 off-brand blades as a reference because I could not find the genuine Stanley branded ones. Thank you

Wow, super fast! Thanks!
I'll take a look this evening, and get the measurements, and try out the new one. 1mm should be enough I think.

I like this design, and happened to have just picked up some bright orange filament, and wanted to find something that 'deserved' to be orange! This works nicely! :-D

Not had a chance to print a new one, but here are the measurements you wanted.
Long side = 61.56mm

Short side = 33.11mm

'Width' = 18.88mm

Thank you for the information.
If you still have any fitment issues with the print please notify me and I will try to sort it out.

uh Hey i dont want to botter you but K.U.T means the whoman you know what in dutche
