Here was my effort. the front is plexi. I think I will make the sides in plexi as well. its just cost as I use thick stuff its like 25 bucks a piece. so i use standard sytrofoarm cardboard stuff on the other sides and top. which insulates well.

mine is a bit simpler as it just clips into the rails.

But I think I need some kinda bottom plate to close the small gap you get when you move the enclosure out far enough not to get head hits into it. I'm still tuning on that.

Your design is very pretty.

Kossel 3mm Plexi Frame Enclosure Holders

Really interested in a finished product. I'm at the same point. Trying to print abs and need the enclosure to keep the heat from dissipating. There are a few designs out there. But none as thought out as this. Kudos.

Estupendo trabajo, lo tengo en mente para su instalación. Muchas gracias y muy buen ánimo. Enhorabuena por el conjunto.

Hi, I love the design. Is there any way I can get the CAD models to the parts?

Would love to see them also.

Hi.
Do you have an update on this?
I have similar questions about corners.
Thanks!

Great work,

Just two questions, what depth has the panels? 2mm, 3mm?

And second question, how you do the curved corners? A continuous piece 3 curved areas and two sides, or 5 independent pieces?

Regards.

Hi, sry for my late reply - the panels have 3mm thickness

I´ve printed the corners in 2 pieces and "sold" them together with some ABS juice - just to get a nice surface finish

Hi!

Did you ever finish this? Do you have some pictures of it? :)

I´ve closed the whole surface of the printer with triangular brackets wich are supporting the delta frame

Unfortunately I haven´t finished this project yet, but I´ll add you some more photos if u like

I also have build a second delta frame which is used as a base for the printer
Because of that, I was able to mount all the electronics inside the base directly under the printer
For the mainboard I´m using a 120mm fan which is directly mounted onto the Duetwifi

Hi there !

Very nice project i'm following it.
Have you print the project and make the custom enclosed linear plus ?
Do you think you will have heat leak from the bottom of the printer ? Have you a plan to cool the mainboard ?

Thanks
