Hello! Great model - really loving it. Would it be possible to upload the cad files too? I would like to add my name to the case.

Thanks, I'm glad it's working for you. This design is a remix of a design by Esquilo, and I imported his .stl files into FeeCAD and added my mods to it. You should be able to import my modified .stl files into your CAD software and add what you want to it.

Does this work for the regular Raspberry 3 Model B?

Yes it should work fine. The B+ just has extra pins to accommodate a power over Ethernet module.

Nice design - have uploaded a time lapse of my print.

This is my favorite version of all the 3B+ cases out there. Thank you!

Your more than welcome, thanks for positive feedback.

I have been looking for a case like yours for OctoPi on my Prusa i3 MK2s. Thanks for sharing!

I have been trying to get another case to work. It attaches to the Prusa mounting holes on the frame which is great. However, the case requires mounting hardware to hold the lid to the base that just doesn't work (e.g. 3mm bolts that go through the 2.75mm holes in the Pi PC board). Also, the edge of the case is flush with the left side of the Prusa frame instead of being centered on the frame which causes problems occasionally with the stepper motor bumping into wires when the Z axis gets too high.

Love the fact that your case doesn't require hardware to hold the case together. If you use your case for OctoPi on your Prusa, do you have it attached to your Prusa frame?

Check out my latest design for the Pi 3 A+ that uses zip ties to mount it to my Prusa I3 Mk2s.

I do run OctoPi on a regular Raspberry Pi 3 with the Pi Camera. I'm using an older case I moded to incorporate 75x75mm VESA mounting pattern (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2738624), but it's just sitting on the desk next to the printer right now. I used #4-40 x 1/4" screws to mount the Pi inside the case. I threaded the holes in the bottom of the case with a tap and these screws seem to work fine with the Pi mounting holes. Not really what you are looking for I know, but take a look, maybe you can bodge something that will work. Thanks for commenting.
