This design is very nice, love the idea of adding a pulley to reduce required force from extruder motor. Print turned out well but pulley did experience loss of quality due to overhang. Do I need to generate supports for the pulley wheel or do I need to address a different problem? Thanks!

It's been a while since I last printed this one, but the pulley does come out much better with supports.

Thanks for giving my design a try. I hope it works for you. I haven't had any issues with it since installation.

how did you put the filament roll on the top? which stl did you use?

CR10 Spool Frame Mount

Printed OK but think g code is off a little.
Top section is slightly off centre to the bottom section.
Any ideas

Sorry about the slow reply. I've been in bed recovering from an illness.

I've double checked the G-code and everything is o.k.
From your pictures it looks like you had an x or y axis shift during print.
I had a similar issue with my Cr 10 a couple months back.
Turned out the connector for my X axis servo motor was loose.

Hope you're feeling better.
I've still used it with no problems just wondered why it happened.
I'll look into the x axis thing.
Many thanks

You are very welcome.

Thanks for the picture. It is great to see my design used by someone.
