Hi Toshi. Do you think you could do the same thing with Donald Duck. Thankyou

I really love your design!! Great and superb job! I'm a bit jealous at your skills. Did you design the head in full first maybe? I'd like to print the head as standing object, so with a round back. Could you help me out please?

can you make it smaller as a file becasue im am trying to tinker it on tinkercad and is says on the import that it is 25 mb max and yours is like 34mb

Is anyone else having an issue with the first layer not laying down under the scarf area?

I fixed that and deleted the old file but thingiverse still zips them both. I will try to delete everything and reupload. If you want to check there are 2 files in the zip file, the uppercase obj is the fixed version.

Hmm, the download I had was only one file. I'll double check it tomorrow, and if nothing else wait for your new upload. Thanks for the response!

In case it's useful to anyone else, I made an adapter plate that would allow me to use 3M Command strips. It mounts on the wall and provides two posts to work in the place of screws in the keyholes on the duck. I'll attach the OpenSCAD and STL files here.

That is very nice, TY. Maybe you could post it as a remix or something so it doesn't get lost in the comments.

Good suggestion, I did exactly that here.

Duck Headphone Rest w/ 3M Command Bracket

This still has problems around scarf. Had to print Z=-0.1

Any idea why there are two "duck_hanger.obj" in the ZIP file thingiverse generates? There's one with lowercase ".obj" and one with uppercase ".OBJ". They even differ in size: the former is 33.8MB, the latter 34.3.

I uploaded a fix and deleted the old one. The fixed version is the uppercase OBJ. I go to edit to see if the old one popped back up and it only shows the fixed version. I have no way of deleting it. it must be a bug.

Realy great stuff. Thanks alot. My kids love them and thanks for the fix!
File import is ok "as is" within cura, for those asking for .STL

Printed well on a cheap_but_great Ender 3 !

Hi. Really nice design. I really like it. I want to print it several times and want to build a wall for hanging hats and stuff onto it. But the beak is a little short. Would it be possible for you to enlarge (longer not wider) the beak a little bit? Thank you really much

How big did you scale it? When I exported the stl from Fusion 360 it was like 1900 mm. Just curious what a good print size would be so I can scale it down in s3d.

For some strange reason, Fusion 360 scaled it up by a factor of 10. It came into S3D at 1531.3 (not 1900 like I initially thought). I resized it and it looks correct now.

Thanks

it shouldn't rescale unless you imported as inches or something. The longest measurement (Y in my case) is 153.13mm.

please include STL file, this is as cool as the other side of the pillow

You can convert to stl in almost any app. If you have windows 10 you can use 3d builder.

could it be possible to have the STL file? thank you!

Nice model, what program did you use?

I have a little proposal about the keyslots.
If you change the overhanging part to 45 degree wall you wouldn't need supports at all. This way there will be no dripping too.
I attached a file with a drawing to make myself extra clear.

That's a good idea, TY

wow, this is awesome.
