Hey there! I think the model looks great! Slic3r PE for my MK3 MMU2 seems to do the trick. But may I ask, how long did it take to print that many of those???

14 hours? It's been a while, but should be right about there.

They look even better with the MMU V2, mines working pretty good* right now.

I'm sorry to ask a Simple question: Would it be possible to Print the stone and inlay separately and piece them together, or does this require MMU?

you can print the two pieces separately, but it will be a very tight fit. You would have to do some slight sanding to make the symbol fit into the stone. Give it a shot, it's a pretty small print so no harm in trying.

Is this with dual extrusion?

That's a very nice design and great choice on the marble filament. I'm going to try with silver + blue ABS on my Ultimaker and see how it goes.

Silver is gonna look great! Post some pics when you print it.

I'm having some trouble getting a good slice and print. Initial attempt using Cura and Ultimaker ended up with very little blue visible on the stone. It seems the cutout in the stone for the blue is too shallow. After merging, only about one layer of blue is in front of the stone, a bunch is behind, and then there are interwoven layers. I've posted a pic of the bottom half of my print. (it failed there for unrelated adhesion reasons)

I also tried slicing with Simplify3D, but that seemed to do the same thing.

the stone is showing as broken, even while running through netfab for repair. care to reupload?

Sure thing!

I ran it through Meshmixer and made it a solid, give it a shot now.

hmm. I have no idea what it is about this model but s3d just doesn't like it. i even tried to fix your new one and still nothing. going to try a few other things.

hmm, trying opening it in 3D builder and repair it that way.

Works fine with Cura and Slic3r
