Can anyone point me in the right direction for the bonnet/hood hinges that are in the first picture, cant seem to find them. the tamiya unimog mirrors look pretty good on this too if anyone has any other mirrors or other add ons let me know!

Thanks

Hi everyone,

I’m about to print this but before I do can anyone help me out with the best layout and settings to print it the best possible,
I’m using the ender3 and cura with creawesome mod, most of my prints have been great, struggled with the last body I printed in white pla+ it had a lot of artifacts and under extrusion, but changed colours and printed some other things with same settings and was awesome.

Also would this fit on an scx10 wheelbase?

Thanks for this great model!

hey there,
is it possible to upload the complete model (without the carrier)

regards

Hi there
Hoe the photo comes out ok i have up scaled it to make it about 1/6th scale.
Regards Andy Q

Dang this is sweet! just about done printing all of the parts out. question is, what is the best way to secure it to the chassis?

It depends on your chassis, you can customize your body support base on the holes you have in your chassis.

looks awesome! Might need to personally tinker with the scaling to print a few for my model railway

Hi there
I am going to have a go at up scailing it to 1/6th scale .
Thanks Andy Quirot

hi firstly thanks for sharing this awesome model :) I have a truck with wheelbase of 290mm sorry I am not very good with measurements could you please advise a scale for me to get that size wheelbase ?

thanks

You should scale to .967 (96.7%) approximately to get a 290mm wheelbase, if my calculations are correct. 1/330=x/290, 330x=290, x=.9666666 (96.66666%)

Hi sorry for the late reply, unfortunately i have no idea how to scale it to 290mm. My technique is trial and error, i'm printing 1 side, even for just 2 layers and fit it to the frame with the wheels to see if the scale fits...:)

Fantastic, I did not understand the wheelbase, 324 or 313mm?
THANK YOU

Can you make a 6x6 bed?

Check it out under the 6x6.

You mean the chassis? Or rear carriage?

The rear bed/carriage

what printing software are you using? ultimake allows you to stretch models, which is really all you need for the 6x6 bed.

Awesome mate, going to add this to my taskforce :-) => www.taskforcekiwi.com

How wide is it? and would i be able to fit it on something with a wheel base of 285mm?

You could always scale it as well in order to make it fit.

22 inches long, 8.75 inches wide, and 10 inches tall (dimensions may vary depending or your build)
approx 13 inch wheelbase

558mm x 222mm x 254mm
approx 330mm wheelbase

can it be scaled for 1/8th scale trucks?

Scale it to 1.25x the size, or 125% scale

Can you please tell me in order to resize it to 275 what scale should i use?

Anything can be scaled. Just figure out the ratio between the two sizes and scale accordingly. This would be awesome as a 1/8 scale truck.

but how nice for a mad torque 6X6

Oh..., I have no idea, kinda depends on the width of the axles and the wheelbase.

seems like its for a wider base but then again I would not know

Hello! This is for TRX 4?

Yes, the wheelbase is based on TRX4 but the problem, Electronics should be relocated which is not advisable..:)

Great work, I think I found my newest project. Thank you a lot.

You're most welcome.

i want it NOWWWWWWW totally printing this

Great model. Can you please confirm the wheel base at this scale? Thanks.

Feel free to message me if you have some questions. Thanks and enjoy printing...

Ermahgerd a M35A2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
