Anti-wobble devices are the biggest downgrade to a printer. Totally useless

if you have time I advise you to checkout P3steel Toolson edition at:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1054909 where the use of z-rod bearing is mentioned.

I do not agree with you. This thing is very useful for me and I have no wobble at all. Surely you have to make the correct settings. Measure the distance between the z-rod and the z-shaft at lowest and highest points. If not equal, move the thing to make them equal. Of course you have to use flexible couplers. Also the z-rod is 5mm in diameter which has some flexibility to avoid wobbling. Another cause of wobbling is the incorrect leveling of the x-carriage. I advice the use of my x-carriage leveling tool for this. Last, this thing is not for all 3D printers. Its for p3steel.

z-axis calibration tool for p3 steel prusa

Ksevin,
I would agree with you if the threaded rods are 100% straight - hardly the case - the flex couplers have limitations and if the rod wobbles like in your case, it means the rods are not straight You said distance between rods top and bottom are the same if the rods were stright, there would be no wobble. when you use the anti-wobbling device, you are transfering the wobble to the middle of the rods and in doing so, push the smooth rods. Just think of a bow, if you hold the ends and rotate it, the middle wobbles.
We are here to help each other the best we can.
Check my design of a fixed leveling reference point. Hope you like it and use it. is very convenience since you only install it once and when doing the leveling, both of your hands are free to handle both rods at the same time. Is easy to use.
