Radio-backing.stl is too short for Baofeng uv-82

Hi! Nice design.
Could you explain what is the purpose of those holes in the second image?
Is the idea of this to be mounted on a molle attachment and be fixed there?

Hi, i made the back plate for molle, whats screws you used??

Thanks

M3 - 20mm long

I'm making size one right now..

can you please upload the version without the ribs? like your picture I like the smooth version

can you also explain the difference between size 1 and size 2?

size 1 is too small for antenna, can you fix?

size 2 fits the antenna, but it doesnt seem secure on the volume side...
I really like the concept, but doesnt seem to work well

Hey man,

There are a few different sizes of antenna, and they /should/ fit snug on the most common ones. Is yours stock, or did you buy it separate? I needed to add the ribs after I broke the first cover. Adding fins like that against the print grain adds a ton of strength. I don't have the older version, so you'd need to tweak the current one.

Awesome, I hate when the volume knob moves, hopefully this will help. WIll print and post pics later
