I can see how you could combine the two sizes into one tool, set 90 degrees apart, both sizes sharing one "leg" in the middle.

Can you make a version for digital caliper?

You could try the "without screw shelf" version, print the test piece and see if it fits. If it's still too tight (but wide enough), you could scale the X-axis up a bit in your slicer.

I cust made the test part and realized that when I looked at the image of your caliper with the screw I thought: „yes that‘s how a caliper looks like“. Just to realize that when I looked at both my calipers they looked like in these images

Ok, good thing you printed the test part first! Could you measure the total thickness of you caliper shaft (shaft + depth probe cover thingy)? Maybe I could make a version for this type of calipers also.

Whoops, that's weird. The comment is missing everything after the emoji I typed on my phone. I actually did post the measurements, fortunately the app on the phone still had the comment open.
The caliper is 15.9x3.2mm, the top screw set is 1.2mm high and the bottom one is 1.3mm high, so all together the caliper is 5.7mm high (that's including about .1mm tolerance in overall measuring, so it is a tiny bit smaller than those measurements, but 5.7mm should fit them all)

Ok, I've now uploaded "without screw shelf"-versions. There's a tester for that as well.

Ok thanks, I'll try and fix a new version asap. Only problem with this kind of calipers is that it won't be as stable in the hole, as the hole has to be as wide (z-direction) as the thickest part of the caliper. I actually thought about adding a printed screw to hold it in place, but that might give a false sense of stability, as there may still be a gap between the caliper base and the bottom of the hole. But maybe for this version it would be better.

I've uploaded a smaller version now, I've also printed and tested it. Seems to work ok. Companion app is updated to include this variant also. Please post a make if you make it!

Hmm, why not. I'll see if I can whip one up, I'm thinking maybe 30 mm between points. Then I'd add a selection in the app for which version you're using. Make sure to "Watch" this design, and you should be notified when new versions are uploaded.
