I have a ridiculous junk drawer in my office that contains things I really should throw away. This little dome contains a LED pcb from something that broke. I also made it large enough for a tea light. It casts nice little dots on the ceiling.
There are two bottom pieces, you only need one. One is regular size and matches the same diameter as the top. The second one is smaller and gives the dome a slight mushroom appearance.
The Top should be printed with support touching the build-plate.
I think I may have borrowed the thread design from someone but I can't recall who.
The version I made contains misc bits such as an old cell phone battery, a LED pcb, micro usb breakout board, and a lithium charging board. The charge last so long that I only plug it in once every few weeks. Its perfect for checking on kids at night and as a night light.
I can post the version with the holes for a switch and micro-usb if anyone is interested.
