how much infill is needed for it to be self-reset the plank.
I printed 10% infill and I had to drill holes and fill with bb rounds, to reset

Since I used the magnet (as in the summary I posted), I have no idea. With the magnet, it grabs it right back as soon as the varmint has been dropped off the plank.

I have a magnet too but when it tilted over it hung down in the bucket so the front weighs more than the rear part where the magnet sits

I'm SOOOO glad I found this! I just watched the video "The All Time Best Rat Trap I Have Ever Tested. Dunk The Rat Trap In Action." and scoured the internet for any 3D print files that might be similar... and BAM, here I am!!!

I'm going to print this. I REALLY REALLY hope it will help get the vermin (rats / squirrels) that keep trying to chew their way into my house!

Any other tips to have the most success with the print and with the trap?

Thanks again!

It prints well if you use the suggestions from the mouse trap. Just make sure that the water is deep enough to handle more than one rodent...
