What rod length did you use for your CR10S5?

I can't find any M10 rods that are exactly 60cm. I know I could cut a longer one, but how much play do I have with the length?

will this work for the cr-10 mini frame as well?

Here's LED mounts for your threaded rod modification you might find useful: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3179195

Universal LED mount for support rod M10, M8, M6, 3/8", 5/16", and 1/4" rod

Do you think it is possible to attach this in reverse configuration?

Original credit for this design should be given to me. Kudos for the remix. But the fact that your frame support brackets are obviously slightly modified from my design, I would appreciate credit be given for all the hard work I put into my design.

Hello WickedFog,

Sorry for not responding earlier. The design is not taken from you, I designed it free hand and didnt have a Thingiverse account.
I know Jonathanlundstrom and gave him my design. It didnt work for him cause i designed it for different screws and the dimensions was a bit of. He asked me if it was okay for him to post it and im okay with it.

I really like your design and i can see why you think Jonathan took the idea from you. But thats not the case.
Hope to see more nice designs from you.

I'm all for credit where credit is due but I can honestly say that I had never seen you design until I just saw your profile, thanks to this comment. I created these braces from scratch in Fusion (freehand) after a friend showed me some images of ones he had designed. Therefore, these are neither a remix nor stolen from your files. If you want them, I've got both step files and a Fusion timeline to prove it.

Nice work on your braces though :)

When I overlay the STL over my model it matches up perfectly except for the radius I believe. No worries. But it is one helluva coincidence for all the dimensions to match perfectly.

Hi! How did you attach the bottom piece to the frame?

They are screwed into the aluminum profiles after using an M5 tap to make threads in the extrusion holes.

Nice work. Thank you for publishing, but could you resize it also to M8 or publish/share the construction files?

I'll try to create an M8 version of these shortly! :)

Great job, please consider the M8 resizing, it wold be much appreciated. Thanks

Are you still considering in making an M8 version? It would be much appreciated :)

Did this mod improve your print quality?

Can you see any differences from prints before the Z-Braces was installed,
and after the Z-Braces was installed,
and what did they improve in your prints if any?

I'm interested to know these things as well.

which figure is that in the background ? =)

If you mean the man wielding the dual swords, you can find it here:

do i need to drill holes on m4/m5 on printed parts?

Not really, they should be fine right off the build plate, but I tapped mine before putting the screws in. It's not necessary though :)
