Could this be modified to work as the front and rear differential? I keep breaking the tiny gears in my differentials (using alloy 910).

This differential is very big compared to front/rear diff, you better buy metal ones.
By the way I had same issues with front and rear so I put Truggy away :(

Is there any way this can be turned into a beveled gear instead of the straight spur? I am using shafts for my RC car instead of a belt. Already tried to modify the .STEP file but I did not know if it would be easier for you since it would have the history of the part. Thanks!

You don't need belts for this. It connects with motor spur gear, files for it is here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42198

I am aware but you can also run it will belts. After a few hours of tinkering, I was able to do what I was describing. I will post a remix once I get it perfect. Thanks for the great base!

Very nice :) Did you plan to publish somewhere CAD file?

Try redownload files. Added STEP files.

At first it looked like it wasn't even going to spin because the inner gears kept getting stuck. It took me some time to figure it out, but eventually I got it. The inner worm gears might need some breaking in but they work perfectly afterwards. I have to give credit to the designer, it is really impressive the level of detail and precision that is in the model.

Glad to hear it worked. Please share some info on filament, lube used and how it holds in longer use :)

This is mega cool!
