greetings from germany,

first of all, thank you very much ! the Y wobble was the last problem of my Tronxy X1 and i tryed so many solutions. this is a masterpiece of craftsmanship ! thank you very much for investing your time into it.

Rating 20/10 !

have a nice day and take care

thank you for your kind words
i too tried lots of other things to fix the wobble and none really worked so i just decided to fix it my self ;-)

have a nice day :-)

this is such a great design. iam planning to design one for the Z Axe. testing if it would work with a heavier load and modify it. we should collaborate. regardless your answer, i will link your profile and let people know it was your idea, i just took the idea and created a unique design.

the only problem: iam very busy

take care.

Hi and thank you for your kind words
you are welcome to use the base idea in your own build

to make it take load lie on the X axis you would have to replace the spring with a shorter bolt and just tighten it up till it was how you wanted it
using it with the spring would not work as the spring would just get squashed with the load of the arm on it

but the base design of the unit can take a lot of load in all directions

i hope you succeed with your efforts and just ask if you need to talk about something

Any chance to get some CAD-files? I'd like to modify - if you don't mine - it to fit with 204x204 heating bed with extra alu bracket to protect against PLA overheating... Of course ill prepare some note who is original author...

the .STL files are what i use to build with
i use SketchUp 7 to create in and then export them to .STL as for using a Ali heat shield to protect the PLA carriage that is what i have done

darn...I printed the first revision...it still works, the belt is a little off but it still works

Still a VERY good design, but the newest should be even better!

I used a spring but it wasn't strong enough..ended up using the wingnut flipped backwards and just tightened it down with that on the bolt....works quite well actually

Thanks again for this awesome design!

Hi nice design for the y carriage can you still use the default orientation forthe y belt? Also what size bolt did you use and is there any chance you can add an extra picture showing how to assemble it without the y belt adapter . I can't quite figure it out.

thanks

dose that help?
added another video and 6 pic's

Awesome design!!!!
Can you use the stock print bed with this design?
Thanks for this...I removed my really ugly tinkercad remix, yours is so much nicer

you can now just choose what bolt Patten you want

Awesome!!!!!! Gentleman and a scholar...thanks!
