that is no way near big enough for any kind of fish, bettas need minimum of 5 gal or 20L

I can't think of any fish that needs less than a 5 gallon (18.5 liter) tank to be happy and healthy. the little villa would be cute as a decoration in a proper tank but this is absolutely not an acceptable betta fish habitat unless it was only used as a temporary container while you change tank water. i wish people cared about fishes' wellbeing like they do for cats and dogs. :(

Betta's need a minimum 20 ltr tank, this is basically fish torture.

what stain did you use?

I used the Min Wax Walnut Wood stain on this one. I got mine from Home Depot but amazon has it as well: https://amzn.to/2FEHTs6

I'm going to print this today in MatteForge Black. Ordered the tank from the description. We're pretty excited. Thanks for sharing.

I bet that MatteForge Black will look great. Please post up some photos when you get it done.

that container is quite small for a betta, not to mention the lack of a heater and filter

Thanks for the concern, but I have a heater and I replace part of the water once a week. I am aware of taking care of Bettas.

"I am aware of taking care of Bettas"

Not if you're keeping a Betta in a tank this small you aren't. It's cruel.

As someone who has had many happy bettas, if this is your fish he is showing signs of clamped fins which can mean health problems or just a very miserable fish due to cold water and lack of hiding spots.

Reddit's Betta fish subreddit is a great place to learn about these great fish and how they greatly benefit from wider tanks, real plants(plastic plants can tear fins) and heaters.

Thanks for the information. The Betta Fish had only been in the tank for about 20 minutes before I took that photo. He had probably been in the tiny cup at Petsmart for days and I just brought him home. I will be getting some real plants as well.
