"Imma eye this one" he said before a bunch of people wasted their time and filaments

They printed great but do not fit the 12X12 tiles I got from Lowes. My tile goes all the way to the edge on both sides of the bed and the holes are off front to back. Maybe the Ikea tiles are not actually 12" square.

The files in this appear to be for the 12 inch tile. I have printed and have a large gap for my Ikea tile. Can you please confirm which files you have here as I only see 4 listed in the thing files.

Hi, i printed those with a 30x30 mirror (not ikea) and i've a tiny gap like 0.9mm X and same for Y.

Can you give me source files please so i can modify to fit my mirror ? Tks

I printed the ones labeled with 12 in the stl files and there is a sizeable gap between the edge of the bracket and my ikea mirror. Did I do something wrong?

Had same issue. Big enough gap to still require clips or clamps

Does the nozzle touch any of these holders when it homes?

Just change your home offset for this. Simple fix. But yes, mine would home on this and start on clip if not offset

I still don't see the 12" files. Would love it if you could update, thanks.

I have done a remix for the 12" mirrors. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2847250

Tevo Tornado 12" (30.5cm) Mirror Holder
by wridley

Looking for the files for 12" mirrors. Just the ikea 4 stls are available to download. None in the download section that have a 12 in the file name.

Can you provide a link for the IKEA mirror exact model please? or the exact name that I can find at ikea.com.

Thanks (good job btw)

Hi
the model name here in Sweden is : LOTS
and the link is: https://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/39151700/

As this is a perfect fit and no room for adjustment, is it possible for any issue if the print is not perfect or if there is some shrinkage or something?

you have to modify the end stops of the Y and the X axis. that's the only thing issue I have encountered.
for the Y axis check this Video at minut 2:40: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkUSUHAZ5ig&list=PLY5Z2koT4Mi4-LOen_4tAggqn71z01fJD&index=3
for the X axis you can find a solution here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2805870
and for the Z axis: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2822848

I have the same mirror because my bed has bubbles.
-1 the home for x,y,z will hit the plastic!
-2 how do you compensate for the z height, is there a fix?
I had to tighten the screws the thickness of the mirror... but the head is always hitting the left corner brace.. The heat made a hole!

-3 I was successful in printing some prints, but now the print dont stick! I usually use head=205 deg, and ben 70 - 80!

What am I doing wrong?

Are you talking about PLA? I usually have the head to 200 deg, and the bed to only 50. and make sure that you clean the glas well.
and that you really have a very good bed leveling.

Another 12x12 mirror user in need

* If you can't modify the code for new home points, you will have to change/move your stop connectors. I have a newer Tevo and haven't found the option yet but most others printers would have a function "new origin" which should learn new home. I am positive it can be done in your slicer as well.

** It somewhat is. the z stop is mounted on the T bracket. you will have to drill new holes or here is an idea, print a new mount.

On glass, what i found best is to use glue stick. Visit your 99$ store and find scotch glue stick. Beauty of it is i take the glass to the sink and washes right off when I am done but most often, i reuse it.

Please let us know if you remix this to 30.4x30.4 mirror size? That is what the Lowes Department store mirrors measure at

Sorry for the delay I was in away for a couple of weeks.
now i have a set for the 12in mirror.

Hi. Did you get a chance to change your holder for a 30.4cm by 30.4 cm by 0.4 cm? Otherwise known as 12 inch by 12 inch?

Sorry for the delay I was in away for a couple of weeks.
now i have a set for the 12in mirror.

The glass I had made cut was apparently 30 x 30 x 4mm. This should still be good?
Cheers

Can you make a remix for those of us who use home depot/menards/Lowes mirrors?

Sorry for the delay I was in away for a couple of weeks.
now i have a set for the 12in mirror.

Just send me the size of the mirrors. And I will fix that for you

What material did you use for it? I see a similar one that was printed in PETG. Do you think PLA would hold up or is there still too high a temp in the corners?

I used PLA. But PETG will be best in case you planing to print ABS
