Just printed this on my Ender 3 and it came out perfectly first time with Allente's settings ( cheers Allente ! ).
Many thanks for making this file, I am looking forward to printing several more using different filaments.
I was so impressed by this vase that I created an account here just to be able to thank you for your efforts.

PS: Cura Said 3:48, but it took me 7h40 min

Awesome looking vase :-)

I printed 40 of these for a banquet on my kossel, ender 3 and CR10. .2 layer height, vase mode, 1.15 extrusion multiplier and 4 bottom layers at 50mm/s. Prints in 2:40 with no leaks.

Nice, could you share a picture of the 40 vases :-)

Here's 27 of 40 vases with one printing on the Kossel. The other ten were picked up last week.

I love this model, just printed it at 400mm x 300mm x 200mm on my Geeetech A30.
Will post a Make

How do I hollow this out? It's a solid object.

You have to print the vase as Single outline (vase mode)

I'm ignorant, what is Vase Mode? Does that mean turn off the infill? I'm a total newb to this.

Vase mode is a setting in the slicer you have to tick. The different slicer softwares have different names for it. With Vase mode enabled the vase prints as a hollow part with a single outline.
What slicer are you using, maybe I can help you?

I hve the same problem and im using Cura 4..0.0

its called spiralize outer contour on cura

Made a large one as a test of the Chiron print volume. Came out pretty good.

Nice! Looking good :-)

Not printable with my setup, don't know why (see attached picture).
Anycubic i3 Mega with 0.4mm nozzle.
Layer height set to 0.3.
Other prints work out fine, also other vases like this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2729191

Decorative Vase

This vase usually prints very easy and clean. What kind of filament are you using and what are the slicer settings?
Kind regards, Jan
