Excellent design, thanks a lot!

Thank you for the awesome design.
Can you please share the tinkercad project? The latest link is already expired.

Thanks in advance

Could you please pass fresh link? I want to add some vent holes (may not be necessary, but just for sure. Thanks

Hi,
Where did you get those nice looking buttons? :)

Thanks in advance

Hi,
use silver thumbtack pins with 10 or 11mm diameter. Search for those at eBay or Ali Express. Just check on the picture that they have a nice surface.

This is just brilliant! :) Awesome idea! Searched all kind of buttons until I found this comment ...

Looks like a FHEM installation behind? :-) Nice project!

Hello there. This is really an interesting project. The epaper display is pretty good, but I'm confused about how to connect my phone to Bluetooth. There is still time to stay in 1970.1.1, how to modify the time. I tried a lot of this, but still could not find the correct answer.
best wishes

Hello, great design on the case. Could you post the CAD files as I'd like to enlarge it and modify inside for Zero W with lipo board.

Thank You!

Hi Christof,

now the link has really expired (even if you copy the entire link). Would you be so friendly again to create a new link?

"The share link has expired. To continue editing ask the owner for a new link"

Hello Christof,

It appears the link has expired. You you re-submit for a new link?

Thanks,

Roman

Hello Roman,

the link is not expired. Copy the complete link to the addressfield of your browser. Then it should work.

Hey, I can't see "capacitive touch" module in your BOM. Could you please recommend one?

Thanks!

Thanks Christof, that did it. It shows in comment section as hyperlink, so I clicked on it, and that doesn't work.

Roman

Hi,

with the ESP 32 no capacitive touch module is required. This is a build-in function of the ESP32.
The thumbtack is connected to a specific GPIO and this one is configured as touch input. See also the linked Github project https://github.com/christof62/status-display how this is done.

Best regards,
Christof
