Really clever and simple solution, I like it. The one I use is a bit more complex, but works great and makes changing filament easier (it routes the filament from the bottom piece).
Good job :)

Wow this Adapter works very well even with the retraction on thanks for a easy print makes printing with flex fillament a walk in the park

I used PLA. I was having and issue where the extruder was breaking the filament during certain prints. This has solved the problem. Thank you!

Hello, what temperature should I use? 120C? and table temperature?
Could you pass the settings, please?

i printed it and now it's ok to print my octopus model wih flex filament (flow 125%, no retractation, print speed 30mm/s)
thanks a lot for this great and removable upgrade.

strange, I recently got one of these machines (about the time this was posted), and my extruder seems very similar to this, but the cogwheel is golden and bigger

Oh crap! You are right. I forgot... this is not the original extruder wheel. I have changed it with a wheel with sharper teeth.

Thanks for the design. I printed one tonight but my tolerance must be different as it comes into contact with the gear and stops the feed. I think i need to shave about 0.5mm off to have it work. I'll give that a try and feed it back to you if it works.
