A small rotating platform, sort of a "lazy Susan", for a small camera or smartphone (provided you have a 1/4" adapter for it). It can be used either as a platform to stabilize your camera on a flat surface or as a panning device for video or timelapse, although its operation is completely manual at this point...might add some Arduino and stepper motor next to it in the future.
Requires a 608 bearing and a 1/4" male to 1/4" male adapter to couple the camera with the top half of the base.
Supports are required only for the top part, in the hole where the bearing is to be fitted.
Just thread the 1/4" adapter on the top half (it is already tapped) and fit the 608 bearing under the base of the same part, making it flush with the flat part of the base. I used a 608Z bearing for the assembly.
