Hi,
awesome design!
What's your recommendation for the infill?
I have printed one in PLA. My worry was that it might break at the hinge - that shows to be no problem; it's the frame that broke (in three places at the same time) on the second try-on...
Had it printed with 20% infil.
Found that one of the makes had 40% so I'm wondering which infil to set before the next print...

Regards, T.

Hi,
I use a 25% infill but it is for prototyping purposes only, i don't rely on PLA for a daily use, i recommend to get the frame SLS printed (by Shapeways for instance, it can be pretty cheap)
Regards

can you post a 3d lens file ? Not sure how to make one

Awesome design!!

But there is no file for the flexible one. Can you put it on?

Hi ! The flexible one corresponds to the file named steve_block.stl but you should try this one which works better : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2801880

Does the glass keep the same shape in both designs??

Yes, same shape, only the joints differ

Awesome! I'll post my make after I put the glass on. Thanks!

Thanks! I am printing that one already!

I'll try this one later.
