It made a huge difference in most of my prints... Being too humid here in the summer, I was actually going to put my prints on hold for the season. Thank you very much for the tip. By the way those are two prints made with exactly the same settings on the same printer at a few hours interval.

Living in the Nethelands I foun an alternative fo the box here with HEMA: https://www.hema.nl/wonen-slapen/opbergen/kunststof-opbergsysteem/opbergdoos-28-x-28-x-32-cm-39870034.html. Of course the nGen ring will not fit. the topsize is to large to print a fitting ring, but the cover fits OK.
To all of you: have Fun!

Hi Richard,
Thanks for posting!
The print is in the making and I hope aliexpress will deliver the heating soon.

Using a Prusa PLA filamentspool I have a problem with the diameter of your spool as on of the other replies (by slowmo74) signals to you. (I’m a newby in 3D printing and learning to draw in CAD will be a next project ….

Thanks Rich. I printed three of the dry bag sensor holders before it dawned on me that once mounted, there's no way to get to the battery once it dies. As a suggestion, maybe you can put a rectangular slot onto the side so you can access the battery door. Otherwise, it needs to be destroyed to get to the battery. A shame.

Any advice on the tubing? You just said it was "oversized tubing" but how do you attach it to the printer if it isn't a bowden tube? Is there a gap between the oversized tubing and the printer?

Rich, What's the average temp and humidity you are seeing in your box?

Hey Thanks for sharing this idea but i dont have any source to get that heating pad yes i can buy it from bangood but shipping time is too long for me so can i use this instead of your heating pad https://www.amazon.in/3D-Printer-Polyimide-flexible-Quantity/dp/B01ITKK6M4/ref=sr_1_51?ie=UTF8&qid=1535179259&sr=8-51&keywords=heated+bed+3d+printer please let me know

Thanks for the files. I'm in the process of printing it. The spool holder is a bit too big for the ones that Prusa sell. Are you able to post files for smaller ones?

Hi there
same problem here....
Did anybody help you out yet ?

have a nice day !

HI Kevin,
When your question has not be responded to: give me a reply our sent me an e-mail and I'll help you out. I started studying FreeCad 0.17 and drew the smaller spool myself.

Hi Great Idea

I have only one problem your design does by far not fit as nicley in most 11 Liter boxes I found as in yours. Do you by chance have a link where I could buy this box ?

Got everything printed, but the heater is too narrow (by about 3mm) to slide into both sides of the slot.I got two heaters to make a 4 spool version of this, but neither one of them fit. I dont suppose you would share the source file so I can modify it? If not I understand, I printed this in PETG, which I'm a total noob at, so that may be it, anyway, excellent design! Thank you for sharing!

Lovely project, just started printing some MasterSpools and this here would be next on the list - if I could only find the box you used, can you link us to it please?

Great idea, and great video !
Everything is explained clearly, except one small detail (probably considered too simple) : the box :-)
I set out to build one, and quickly found the various items that go inside, but I'm having a hard time locating the sort of enclosure you're using...
I'm not a native English speaker, so probably I'm not using the right idiomatic search terms on eBay.
Could you maybe share yours, or even a couple of URLs ?...

Hey Rich, thanks for your work in the 3D community with the master-spool idea, I'm happy to see it taking off. Through that video, I found your video on this drybox idea and I'll be building several for my soon-to-arrive MK3.
