Due to the lack of availability of genuine Myford thread dials, i have been forced to spend the weekend making one.
There are a few parts to turn up which you can find in the .PDF
I can tell you that watching the dial NOT move is extremely satisfying. Jeez, talk about a crash course in gear geometry. Some heavy stuff right there!!!
you may want to drill/ream the main body to 8mm. you are looking for the shaft to spin freely without play.
you should also paint the dial and draw some marking on it. I have drawn only 1 line so there is no confusion.
