What is the approximate distance between the bottom of the outside aluminum extrusions and the table top after installation?

I have limited head room above my printer and would like a general idea if it will git before printing.

Hi. About 4cm from the frame. Compared to the original feet on the printer it increases the height by about 2cm.

what is the diameter of the squash ball ??

Is it possible to have a second version for raquette balls which are 57mm diameter vs the 40mm duameter of squash balls, i have zero experience with 3d modeling, thank you it's a great simple design i love it


I've uploaded raquetball feet for you. The base plate is longer than the original so that the screwholes are accessible.

The extra y axis feet absolutely killed a very loud resonance I had on the y axis beam, kodus to you sir!

I like the idea of the extra feet in the center like that. It just helps disperse the extra weight of the printer and any deflection of the frame at the Y axis. Since the feet are all rubber and kind of pressure leveled it should work beautifully. My CR-10 S5 arrives tommorrow. Thanks for your contribution.

Thanks. Fusion 360. Until 6 months ago I'd never used a CAD program. There was a couple of little learning humps to get over but as a tool I love it!

Reduced the noise a lot. I used sqashballs with a blue point as they were the cheapest to get (1,50€ each on amazon).
I could mount only 4 feet, as I have no additional screws yet. Any experience on how much the 2 additional feet would improve the experience?
Thanks for the design, I printed in PETG and the design seems perfekt.

Thanks for the feedback. The 2 extra feet only make a difference if you still experience vibrations and noise when the Y axis is moving a lot.
