Your buildings look amazing, do you design them from scratch or do you import a file? I am just asking as i would like to make a MTS Centre for my brother who loves the jets

Hello,

Just wanted to let you know that I have successfully modeled and 3D Printed the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg. It is modeled in 1:833 Scale and measures L 7" x W 4" x H 2". The roof is embossed with the Jets logo and is removable to reveal the seating tiers and ice surface complete with lines and circles. It is an absolute hit in our family.

This looks amazing, would you consider sharing the file? or will it be going on your etsy store?

Hello,

Glad you liked it.

My going rate for custom requested designs of this complexity is $75US. However, since I personally wanted this design anyway I will share the file with you for $10CAD. Alternately I will sell the completed model with coloured logo and coloured ice surface for $75CAD. It is a 13 hour print and uses 167 grams of PLA with 5 different colours.

If you are interested in purchasing the STL files or the completed model please contact me via my Etsy Store.

p.s. What kind of 3D Printer do you have?

Hello,

Thank-you for your inquiry. Yes! I do all my designs from scratch and I have performed dozens of custom designs in answer to requests such as yours. Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, home of the Jets, is a beautiful building but may be too big for modelling. In N Scale (1:160), which is the scale I typically model in, the Bell MTS Place would be 37.5 inches long by 22 inches wide. Yikes! If we were to shrink it down to 7.5 inches, which is the size of my 3D Printing facilities, then a lot of the detail would be lost... but still possible.

Wow, this is Impressive! You created a scale model of a whole block of buildings? It is amazing what you can do with technology now-a days.
