If I were to print all the split files, would that give me a full helmet? Im a little confused on which files to use. I have an Ender 3 so i need to print in parts.

Comments deleted.

Is this big enough to wear at default size if it is in the pieces?

I hear that scaling the model to 105% work well for most people.

Hi Damask

My name is Reza and I am in year 9 I would really like to have a 3d printed iron man mark 50. I have tried for many hours to create my own but I dont have the skills to do so, I have even scouted the net for a file of it. If you could make a model of the mark 50 iron man Armour from infinity war, i would be eternally grateful. I would not sell or give away any files as it is just to print one for my home. The photo below is what I sort of want to have in the end with the flaps at the back and the blaster on his hand in a standing position. If there is a way for you to ensure for your peace of mind that i wouldn't sell it then you can do whatever you want. You can contact me at my email Reza.Evans@wesleycollege.net all i want to do is to have a model to sit next to my tv of iron man thanks for your time

Soooo ive started printing this. Specifically the one where it's broken into 4 ie face plate, chin strap etch and the face plate doesn't fit the chin strap on the left side. Am I missing something

Hi,

Awesome job on the design. Looks great!
I also work with Fusion 360 and I was wondering, would you be willing to share those files?
Have to fit everything in my Up Mini printer and I want the faceplace detached (without the little 'wings').
If I had the fusion files I can optimize the model cuts to achieve this.

Kind regards

I'd rather not because that would make it easier for people to edit and remove the watermark I put in place, I've had this done before where people removed the watermark and sold the files and don't intend to have a repeat of that incident. I'm really sorry for this, I hope you understand. If you'd like I can edit the models for you myself?

I've found a way to cut the model myself.
Currently printing the last pieces and see how everything fit's.
Seems good so far.

Thanks for creating the model. Do you have like a tutorial on how you did the design?
Curious to know how you build the model off images

Edit: just thought off the fact that if I should ever buy a bigger printer, my cuts would not be optimal.
I've added a picture, would you be able to cut the design like that. It's basically the helmet and faceplate seperated, but with the 'wings' still attached to the helmet.
Much appreciated!

How did you cut it? I only have a mini-3d printer so cutting is definitely needed

I printed it with the Up Mini (12cm), so a small printer as well.
I just used X, Y or Z plane cuts in the standard Windows 10 3D builder app, sometimes rotating the model to get a good cut.
Faceplate split in 6 pieces (vertically in the middle, at the connection of the top and bottom part between the eyes and the end 'tips' of tje cheeck). Helmet in more pieces, but in a similar way. Always try to look for recognisable point where it wpuld be easy to glue the parts together.

If you want I can take a picture on the inside of the helmet, where the glue lines are still visible.
Btw I 'glued' the parts with a 3D print pen (which is pretty inexpensive now). It's also very handy for filling in some gaps.

Since last week I've got the Creality CR-10S4, that fit's the helmet in 1 print, so will probably reprint the entire model. Because I used the old files and didn't check scaling, faceplate was to big for the helmet, so had to do some modifications to the faceplate after printing, which doesn't look very good. But it was still fun wearing it to the Endgame premiere

I've added the newly split files, hope you enjoy!

Awesome! Thank you.

I fully understand. You've put in quite some work to get this done, don't want other people running off with your model.
I'll figure out first how best to cut it and will let you know than.
Thank you that you're willing to cut it for me

Hi DamaskProps,

Wondering if you'll get a chance soon to upload the new version of the 4 pieces (Mark50_headChin.stl, Mark50_headFace.stl, Mark50_headmain.stl, Mark50_HelmBack.stl) you had previously created in the original version with higher quality?

Thanks in advance!

Ill get to that as soon as possible.

PLZ UPLOAD MK 46 HELMET PLZZZZZZZZZ

I know Killonious has a great model of that helmet, it can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2317950

Iron Man Mark 46 Helmet (Captain America Civil War)

But do you think that it is screen accurate...i downloaded it before and checked it..but i think its different..specially eyes

Hi
How the support configured ? i'm printing the complete hemlet

can you send me the files of the 105 % scale to
richard010@optonline.net thanks

Hello!
Will you update the 4 parts model soon? If you do, I’ll wait for the updated version! Really appreciate your work!

Hi, your model looks really great! I printed it at 100% but doesn't fit, will print it a bit bigger soon ^^
Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't there be a line that continues on the back? (where the gold lines goes but then all around?)

Yes there is that line but unfortunately I did miss is while modelling the helmet as my references weren't all the clear. ill be uploading the rest of the suit sometime during the next month and ill probably reupload a completely remodeled version of this helmet with more accurate details. Sorry for the wait

Hi DamaskProps,

Just wondering if you've had a chance to upload the new version of the 4 pieces (Mark50_headChin.stl, Mark50_headFace.stl, Mark50_headmain.stl, Mark50_HelmBack.stl) you had previously created in the original version with higher quality yet?

I'm VERY eager to print off your Iron Man Mark 50 Helmet. :)

Thanks!

Sorry I have not been able to upload the most recent version in those parts as I am currently busy with commisions, ill upload the new pieces as soon as I can though. I'm so sorry you have to wait

Love the updated version!! But was wondering if you could upload the new version in the 4 pieces (Mark50_headChin.stl, Mark50_headFace.stl, Mark50_headmain.stl, Mark50_HelmBack.stl) you had previously created in the original version and if possible higher quality.

If you could do that, that would be fantastic!! Keep up the GREAT work!

THANKS!!

Sure thing, ill get to that as soon as I possibly can.

That’s Great...Thank You!!!!

Hey mate,
wondering if the issues mentioned below have been fixed and the newer updated version is the one that is uploaded?
Also is this a 1:1 scale model?
Cheers man.

The new version has been posted and the pieces have been repaired

no they have not yet been fixed, its probably going to get fixed later today though. This is also not a 1:1 scale model but I think its very close to life sized as others have printed it at 105% scale and it fit them.

This is beautiful! Will wait for the update in April before printing. Curious as to what scale people are printing at to make it wearable?

I think most people are printing it at 105% scale

Hello.
Awesome helmet. Almost finished printing it ;-)

But, like Arcfury pointed out the Mark50_headChin part has an error. The groove on the left side is missing. Would love it if you could update this part.

Thank you :)

The new version has been posted and the pieces have been repaired

I'll get it done as soon as possible, I'm currently on holidays though and wont be able to repair it until April 1st so you might have to wait a bit for that, sorry. Also that print looks AMAZING!! You definitely have don an incredible job, keep up the good work!

Comments deleted.

Hi, are all the files needed to assemble this print or do the twelve individual files make up the entire helmet?

Hello, all 12 files once printed will combine to make the full helmet, these do not include the larger sectioned ones (they are not labeled with a number)

Awesome! Do I don’t need to use the big non-numbered prints? Just the 12 pieces? Sorry, just double checking lol

No you don't need to print those, however if you intend on printing this I'd suggest not to as I will be reuploading a better version on around April 1st. You can still print this one bit I'm just suggesting that you wait so your not printing two helmet and wasting filament.

Have a problem with this one. The one side of the chin has a groove to fit the faceplate while the other side does not and makes it useless because you can't fit the faceplate on properly.

PS: it's on the 4 parter piece.

The new version has been posted and the pieces have been repaired

The Helmet looks amazing, Is is possible to post the fully assembled helmet? I have a large bed printer where I can print the helmet in one piece.

Thanks
Orlando

The fully assembled helmet has been posted, sorry for the late reply

First of all, super well modeled. Wish i could do that. Is there a way that you can post the helmet and mask in 2 parts since i can print large objects?

The fully assembled helmet has been posted so it will be able to fit in a larger print bed, sorry for the late reply

Hello, everything is very cool done, but there are not enough holes at the top of the head on the visor

hey man just letting you know i got around to redoing the file and have uploaded the files with the vents at the top of the mask. hope you enjoy it!

Yeah, so what happened was I tried to do it multiple times but it constantly messed up the model so I decided to go without them. I might attempt them later and re-upload the model.

it would be very cool if the model was for the Canon, and it is now very similar to the original, only slightly to finish and will be cool. Good for you!

It should be up now, hopefully that helps

Hi, it looks like you forgot to include the 'Mark_50_7.stl' file. It doesn't seems to be in the uploaded .zip file. If you could add it that would be great. Thanks!

Really sorry for the belated reply, it should be up now.

Hello! Could you please post a .f3d file, or whatever fusion 360 file type you use, so that we can use measurements and stuff? Thanks,
Felix

I'd rather not because that would make it easier for people to edit and remove the watermark i put in place, i've had this done before where people removed the watermark and sold the files and don't intend to have a repeat of that incident. I'm really sorry for this, I hope you understand.

Oh. Would you at least be willing to post a version with the parts seperated? I was planning on printing and automating the open/close process. Thanks for posting the design!

with the open and close option though keep in mind that the faceplate curves all the way around the head (as seen in the render with colour)

To clarify, I mean to ask if you would post a file where the "components" of the helmet, like the faceplate and whatnot are separated from each other but the file opens up to show one helmet and each component is selectable. Sorry if not. I'm not trying to bug lol.

The files have been uploaded now, Enjoy!

oh, that makes more sense. Ill get to that right away. Also its good that your asking this, if you have any problems its not any hastle for me to help.

Thank you so so so much DamaskProps!

Any plans to print it?

Absolutely, maybe even the entire suit!

It looks awesome!! Is there any way you can make the faceplate detachable?

Please read the description, it explains why I can't do that.

That is awesome... nice work. is there a reason you didn't put the vents on the top of the gold part?
