I first put the magnet on the bottom (as printed) and then realized that it fit better to attach it to the top (with the exception of the lettered "PRUSA" visualizer), as the raised part gives the spinner a little more clearance. Plus that matches the photos. It might be worth adding that as a comment in the description. Great parts though.

Is it safe to leave it on the printer all the times? I don't want to wear down the stepper! :D

(Thank you, this is amazing!!)

I'd like to mention that you can use a bigger diameter magnet if you just put a steel nut as a spacer between the magnet and the motor shaft. I used a 10 mm magnet.

Why several magnets instead of 3d-printing a small cylinder on the back of the indicator?

cool haha , must have thanks

Geared extruder = Built in visualiser + Never skip

8x3mm is too big, at least from the order I got on Amazon. Suggest 7 or 6mm diameter magnets.

Where is the windmill design? It is not in the files.

Check the "Remixed from", the Windmill is the original design by Peter Roodenburg

Add one for Aperture Science?

The drive of my extruder stepper appears to be non-ferrous. Glad I tried a magnet on it before I glued.

Me too, it sticks to the sides of the stepper but not to the stepper shame :(

Thx Mikolas for the additional designs and article on the Prusa website.
Hope to see more variants showing up :-).

NEMA (extruder) motor rotation indicator (Prusa MK2(S)/MK2.5/MK3/MMU2)

Nice, you should have it as a Remix from the original :-)

Thanks, fixed! Peter did an excellent job with his design :)
