I like how this wire holder works opening rather than wedging the wires into it. The design is both highly functional and artistic! It printed perfectly. The two moving pieces fit snug: A tap with a small mallet helped fit together perfectly. At this point it works well but with use it will loosen up and the rubber bands as return springs will work great.

Just a great design! A significant improvement over the "fingers" style wire holder I had.

I printed your old design, and it still serves me well, so Im not going to print this until I break or lose the old one. Just wanted to say that even the old one is probably the most useful thing I have printed in 5 years of 3d printing!

Perfect, thank you!

I post my comment on this redesign, but it could be applied to both finger designs.
Love it and I'm going to print it (the redesigned one)
The small addition you could make are some holes to fit components like LED, and some connector types in.
This design has some of these holes implemented but is far less refined.

You could use the space now occupied by the side holes for that?!

Also, you could make the top lips on the fingers a bit thicker and higher so that they can contain a v-groove. With that they could clamp some PCB's.
To compensate for the opening angle you have to slant the top surface slightly down to the inside.
