Unfortunately, 2 of the self-locking nuts don't not want to stay in place..so I experienced Layer shifting on Y-axis. I tightened again and retrying. What could be the cause?

Thanks for the links! I ordered a set of self-locking m4 nuts from Amazon. The jam but is an interesting concept too.

Hi there! Thanks for making one for the large bed. Also it's overwhelming how many bolts are needed for the original one.

You're welcome. ;)

I just got the bag of M4 x 40 hex bolts, where do they go in this installation? Also, what kind of bolt is the one on the end of the model? that secures the nut?

Normally you have everything you need in the printer kit.
I had extra M4x34 nuts with the Tarantula kit.
So I made the change with the M4x40 screws of idlers.

Look at the photo included in the comment

Thanks for posting that photo, but now the bolts seem too long. See attached photos

I like this color ! :)

Yeah the thread end too early...
You did not have any extra screws with your tarantula ?

I have more bolts/screws yes, but I thought you said I only need two m4x40 bolts and 2 M4x 34? I’m confused :/

Yes I said 2 m4x40 is needed.
But I also said, normally, there are extra m4x34 screws with the tevo kit. And we can do the change between these extra m4x34 screws, and m4x40 screws of idlers to get 2 m4x40.

Dude, now I’m more confused lol

I don't understand why you're confused.

OK i'm back. Going to try and this model put to use. Why does the M4x40 bolt look so long in mine but not in your photo?

I don't know. But if your bolts do the job, it does not matter if your bolts are not the same as mine. :)
