Finally, a high-end 3D model of a PS4 aimstick. With these sticks you can improve your aim and lighten your grip on FPS and racing games!
It's super easy:
Choose your desired profile
Choose your desired height (6.5mm - 8.0mm - 9.5mm)
Print the bottom part
Screw them with the built-in thread!
DON'T FORGET TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! :)
Is your aimstick loose? Does it twist? Do you have trouble printing? Do you think one of the designs is flawed? Do you think you have a 'brilliant idea' for another one?
!! Please let me know !!
Ensure to rotate the model 180° after downloading, it will be printable without supports!
Print the outer walls slowly (15-25mm/s). This, in combination with the layer height, ensures it is strong enough and good enough quality for the thread!
IF you have the option, use a 0.25mm nozzle to get a post-process free finish!
Print these with a 85° overhang setting! This ensures the flat part is supported, while the rest is the highest quality possible. Don't worry, you will screw most of it to the bottom part anyways!
If you have the option to perform a 'horizontal expansion initial layer', do so. If using Cura, set it to -0.2mm. This ensures both thread's won't be over-extruded, and twist smoothly.
Step 1: Remove strings/blobs from BOTTOM part.
The BOTTOM part has quite some retraction because of the upright 'feet'. If there was any stringing, remove it carefully to protect your controller from being damaged by sharp edges!
Step 2: TWIST!
Twist the BOTTOM part on the TOP part. The thread should catch quite easy and you should be able to screw it as thight as you can. You don't want it to come loose mid-game!
