How did you end up wiring this thing up? Have any pictures? Or tips? Thanks!

The last picture is of a low energy box basically its a 2 gang electrical box with no back. The mounting plate screws into any 2 gang box. There is only one wire the power cable. You might want to get a power cable with a right angle plug, howeaver your normal cable might work if it isn't too long.once your inside the wall you will have to figure out how to get the power to adapter. Lots of options.

This is cool. but is there a way to make this flush mount?

Flush as in the echo inside the electrical box or flush as in the outer cover rising to the upper edge of the echo?.... In either case the echo probably wouldn't hear very well. Might be ok in a small room like a bathroom. Also, it would be very hard to fit it inside the box considering the power cord..... maybe...

yea flush with wall. i bought a flush mount and she can hear just fine. however the volume is low. Might go with your solution. Thanks!
