Hi!

I was about to purchase the rolling pins on greenstuff world and thought... that would be an easy thing to print…
but as you said, even what you already did is beyond my modelling skills

How did you do that?

I usually use tinkercad and I have some interesting textures from floor panels and such but I won't know how to "wrap" those around a cylinder.

How did you do yours?

Thanks!

I looked for a long time to find a way to "wrap" a flat texture around a cylinder but never found one that didn't require skills I don't yet have. This is actually done brick by brick rather than with any fancy wrapping technique.

Does this work well on foam board?

Beautiful design, thank you, my playdoh-dry creation of ruin rubble bricks just became an able reality to do :D ! Are you able to create textured patterns with relative ease because I'd leave a beer or two tip if you were to make a roller-pin for broken rocks and/or bullet-holes imprints to use on the side of buildings !

Glad its helping you out! Sadly, while I'd love to make more of these with more interesting textures, for now this model is pushing the limits of my relatively noobish 3d modeling capabilities.
