How do I use them? you did not make a hole in the gears and the handle extension the hole does not go all the way through. I printed the set of 4.

Sorry I should probably have been more detailed with the text. The widest part of the handle section lines up with the circle embossed into the bottom of each cog. To assemble the handle, just glue those parts together. I found superglue works well on PLA. The hole on the narrow side of the handle is for a self tapping screw that holds it onto the drawer or whatever you install it onto.

That makes sense. I'm still kinda concerned about it breaking apart it the glue that good. I don't get why two cogs have a hole on the bottom and the others don't.

When I was first designing these I experimented with using a central hole for alignment before changing it to a circle around the edge, so it's probably left over from that. I'm still experimenting with these so that might be something to clean up in the next update. If the glue isn't strong enough it could be a weak point. I use loctite superglue to assemble mine and so far the only time any of them have been reported broken is when someone fell against it. If you want though I could post a version with a hole cut all the way through for mounting with a long bolt?

I just bought some 2 part epoxy hoping that will work. I was thinking of putting a bolt all the way through to like a brass style but I did not find any long enough at the store. I would be interested in stp files. Those are the easiest for me to modify. I'm interested in making it easier to line up since it looks my first glue job will be a bit off.

im also having trouble with files

What problem are you having?

I am having issues with the files. Only one of the files is correct. the rest are pieces of the file.

I'm not sure what the issue is, can you go into more detail? Which file is correct?

Dear Caramellcube,
Files seem to be incomplete?

cog_handles_x4.stl should have all the models needed to print these, is there a problem with the file? If it would help I can upload the cogs as seperate .stl files?

It seems that cura shows just one piece of a couple of pieces. If I open the files in meshmixer, they are complete but need to be combined for export....

That's odd.
I've added each of the cogs as a seperate file. Let me know if there's still a problem.

Could be an error on this side :( The images don't seem wrong) . Will try another download this evening. Thanks for your answer!
