Great work! My son love your model and I'd like to print whit 5 colors.
I'm trying to assemble in PrusaSlicer 2 for printing with 5 color MMU2.
For the saucer is all good, but I can't put in the right position the top-bottom funnels.
Could some fo you give any suggestion?
Thank you :-)

Print the chimneys individually, that saves you work. It is no problem to simply stick them on.

thank you so much for making this im so happy how mine turned out. thank you

My son and I just made a little display stand with a plaque for this model. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3538167

I've yet to take some photos but it turned out rather well considered how simple it is.

Simple stand for RMS TITANIC - scale 1/1000

Hi guy. I'm printing with a anycubic i3 mega; for your experience which is the right procedure to print only the deck file and, then, assembly it?
Thanks and good work

Wow....great design!! Is it possible to scale it down to 1/2400? Thanks....Dennis

Does this model float without tipping over?

No, that's a stand model.

Such good detail! Great job!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

Not related to the model, however, if your son likes the old Atlantic liners etc, there is/was a TV series called "The Liners: Ships of Destiny", you may be able to get a copy somewhere.

Thank you for pointing that out. I already know the series. But in the meantime so many ships have accumulated :D

My son loves learning about the Titanic and I'm almost done printing this for him. He's very excited. I thought about using the single color model and just changing colors at certain heights (excluding the deck color) but decided to try printing the mmu files separately. Other than the deck file it's worked like a charm and I just have to superglue the top of the smokestacks on to finish it.

If you decided to work on the Carpathia in the future we'd love to make it. I found an iceberg file but he says he needs the Carpathia too!

I forgot to leave a comment here. So I am very happy that you like it above all your son. Everything else, I had already written to you :)

This is a great model and prints very well! Will your updated titanic model from your Instagram be available in the future?

Would love to print this massive, in two parts like you did the OII boat. bottom for stability and top less.
would it be a huge ask to have you split the body and base into 3 or even 4 parts that i could glue together? even better would be for each of those parts to have guide pins ( i know i know, large ask). would be forever greatful!! as i'd love to make a massive one.

I'll write you a message.

Is it possible to scale a little (60-70%) because it doesn't fit on my Prusa?

but should fit, just print crosswise. I have also done so on my Prusa

Danke für das Model! This is a great model that has been optimized for 3D printing! If you want to test your printer settings or a Titanic junkie like me, you should definitely print this one.

Glad you like it.

Can you explain where to put "mmu_decks" print? I can't figure out where it's suppose to be...or some assembly info...? there are also quite a lot of funnels...

Also i think that this part can't be printed without any support...?

I have stored the order which should be set in slic3r in the description.
I printed the funnels separately.

Thanks! I will try to print and assemble it in these days. I'll post in "i made it" section if i make it in decent quality.
BTW...great work, thanks for design!

The funnels have to be reworked a little bit so that they fit. With superglue, however, this works quite well. Watch out for the slope of the funnels. Watch out for the slope of the funnels. I attach another picture (Post-Printing)

Oh, right...you have MM upgrade. I don't have it, so i will try to print each part separately. I will try to mix structure and decks into one print. I'll see what will happen.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to print the deck individually.
My tip would be to print it first in one piece (titanic_sw) to see if all the details are intact.

Could you share the little tug boat?

The tugs are in progress, come a little later.

Great work, thanks alot :-)
