I have a question maybe someone here can answer. Should the balance ports not also be connected in this design and will it cause the battery to wear quicker if they are not connected ?

Is this designed to interface with the B+ and B- terminals on the battery? Id like to use a battery to power a portable radio and i like the idea of the battery being mountable

I love the work that was done on this! Are you willing to upload the .iges .igs or .f3d so I can adapt this for mounting to a radius pipe?

Unfortunately the original version I remixed this from was made with Sketchup and I just used that instead of converting to something more usable. The modified dewalt.skp file is already included in the files available for this thing. FYI: Sketchup does not provide any export option to create STEP/IGES/F3D files. For the free version only export options are png and stl.

How much filament does it take to make the full item?

With 50% infill it takes about 15 meters of 1.75 mm filament to print the whole thing. Volume is around 35 cm^3. Those are estimates KISSlicer gives. :)

HI,

Will this fit the 20 volt max battery?

thank you

It should fit since the 18V XR has the same mounting interface as 20V Max batteries.

Nice job. Worked great first time. I post images once I finish wiring it up.

Works perfect. I had a setting wrong on my printer the first time I printed and it was to small. Once I fixed the setting the print came out great. Thank you
