Great model sir, well done all around!

One question....is there an .STL file for the barrel of the mini-turret? I didn't see it in the zip file. Thanks and great work again!

A thing of beauty! I think this one is my favorite.

great job with the weathering. what paint did you use.?

I like the design and quality so far.
But it appears that in the right_lower_leg is an error (missing part).
See the attachment picture.
Could you correct this please?
Also this is viewable in your preview (baa352f62cb7801669dc3cc6caa2d284_preview_featured.jpg)

Thank you!

Its a bad cut. I just rebuilt the loops using some modelling putty or cut them off and use some wire or filament to replace them.

Great model! In final stages of assembly.
Quick question- what did you use as the barrel for the Mini Turret?

I used a barbeque stick. Slightly bigger diameter than a cocktail stick. I had a bunch laying around :-)

Ha! Perfect, cheers.

fantastic work!!! A quick observation, the turret you used is from what looks to be a soviet BT-7A . during world war 2 the German army. Frequently captured, modified, and redeployed Russian tanks . The most common of these modifications involved adding a commander copula to the top and crew stowage box to the back of the turret. Maybe you could designate this a Soviet walker and make a model with those modifications to represent a captured version in German service? Anyway just an idea I thought I'd share

If you need a source for a German turret box and copula I have a few pz4 models with them https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2090672

Panzer IV Pack (Retread)

Yes the turret isn't correct for a german tank but then not many of them had legs either soooo...........:-)
I'm currently working on two American mechs, a Sherman and a Lee. Maybe after that I'll do a Russian one :-)

Awesome design. I'm currently printing it out now. I will love to assemble it as I love these type of mech designs. Is it okay to print the turret middle button section with the thin sliver missing from the top? My slicer will not detect that thin plane and just gets rid of it. I don't think it will be an issue since it gets covered up but I am just curious.

Hi, glad you like it.
No mine did the same, it was just some ill judged cutting on my part but it doesn't affect the model.
Let me see your version when your finished.

thats cool how big is all connected?

It's 230mm or 9" tall.
