btw, what software you use to print this model?

When I printed mine, it was 55cm tall when assembled. I still have it next to my TV ^^. I used CATIA V5 to model it and back in the day I printed it with the XYZ software of my XYZ printer but today I would use Cura or any other free slicer.

55CM! it's pretty big~ I'm new in 3d and still using autocad for 3d drawing. I'm still looking for a better 3d software to work on. May be Cura would be a good starting~
Thanks for your awesome works~

Cura is actually a slicer only used to cut the model for printing. I would recommend using Blender (totally free and awesome) or Fusion360 if you're familiar with CAD.

It look great man~ I wonder how big it is when print the whole thing out!

Anyone else think this would be great for the HZD board game that I hope comes out good?

It'd make for one heck of a hunting target.

Taking a good look, and, while stylized, it holds true to the machine quite well. It pales in comparison of what the board game's miniatures are hopefully shaping up to be, but it'll be great just for completing a lineup...

Or just being a tall boi like usual.

I could do it with far more details today but I think it looks ok.

I'm not sure how to print this without supports, especially the front of the neck. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi, if you are trying to print the Tallneck in one piece, then you should add supports. I put supports manually in the STLs available here and this is how I printed them. As long as you print those, you won't need aditionnal supports.

HI, Thanks for your response. I will be printing the individual pieces but I'm sure my printer will need extra supports. Are the files available without the added supports so that I can generate my own?

I can give you the STEP file of the whole model if you want. You'll have to cut it though.

That's OK. Thanks. I wouldn't know how to cut it. Thanks anyway.

hi i miss some parts in that . back legs is missing and that tails. is there a chance to send it or download it from somewhere?

I've updated the names, it should be better now.

thank you i downloaded it again and now i see all parts ;-) thank you

Just like ccjjss said, all the files are here. They are strangely named because they were made for personal use at first and I didn't rename them. I'll reupload them with the right names eventually.

All of the pieces should be there in the 'Thing files' section. They confused me a bunch because of how they were named, but I figured it out after a while. (gauche flasque gauche, droit flasque droit, gauche flasque droit, droit flasque gauche) are all the tail pieces that you need to print 2 copies of each. I can't remember the legs, but if you print one of each leg piece you should easily be able to figure it out in person.

Thanks so much for this. My wife is going to flip when I make this for her.

Have fun ! :)

Looks like a great model, I can't wait to try to print it! did you print all the pieces in one color and paint it, or did you print some of the pieces in different colors?

I printed it all in white and then painted it :)

I love it.
Will try to print a small Version with supports in one Piece.
