Merci il est très chouette mais serait il possible d'avoir le chat et la boite séparément ?

so i made this cat box into a demon cat in box, and whenever i print him out i will def show you how he looks. i love how he looks hes adorable, i hope you dont mind that i tinkered with him

Any chance of a split version (cat and box as separate STLs) for those of us without multi-material?

Thank you so much for sharing.
I would like to print one of this out in a relatively larger scale and print it as a memorization of my cat, is it possible for you to upload a new version with some fur like texture applied to it so it will looks more realistic?

I have made a much larger version and higher detailed version of this model though and it is available for purchase:

Single extrusion version:

Dual extrusion version:

I find the lack of physical texture means I can paint the cat as I wish. Here is an example:

Silly thingiverse won't let me post a "make" without a still image. All I have right now is a mp4 timelapse:

I really like this model, and am currently printing it for my daughter. If I had even the tiniest bit of artistic talent, I think I'd try to take the non-boxed version and put him/her into a top hat instead of a box. Printing a Cat in a Hat would be appealing...

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!

I like the design very much :) ! I would like to give it a try.
Sorry if it is a silly question : is it possible to have the model of the cat without the box?
Thanks :)

Added this. Enjoy!

Thank you so much ! It is perfect :D !

Chubby wooby puddy :3

Printed this twice. Once at 100% and once at 150%. Both prints failed, with an empty 3mm gap just above the eyeballs. The crown of the head and the rest of the ears continues to print like nothing even happened. It looks fine in Slic3r preview so I'm not sure what is happening.

As a N00B, I think I'll use paint for the eyeballs with my single extruder, and I'll see if I can shrink it down to make it an extruder spinner. HA! That will be nifty!

Thank you for this model, really nice and life-like !

Ahah! Is this the Schrodinger's cat?
IT'S ALIVE!

Great design

Greate design Louise!
Next, a rabbit in a hat ;)?

LOL! Or a Toad in a Hole...

I'm just printing it now and I was thinking why the heck is the bottom 2 rectangles, not a square. Then I realised you've modelled it like a real cardboard box, sweet. now that's detail.

Thanks! My husband asked exactly the same question. Way I see it, the detail doesn't affect bed adhesion, so why not?

Nice model. ;) Looking forward dual extrusion version. (Box and eyes in different colour?)

Goes like this:

Colour 1: Box and eyes
Colour 2: Cat and pupils

:-)

Sounds as a perfect plan to me! Even I love „Russian blue“ cat variant more as they have those elegant faces… ;)

There may be more kitty breed sculpts in the works:-)

Thank you! I love cats so am frankly surprised this is the first I've modeled.
