Remix of hudson fractal puzzle for 3d printers. Print it in one or many colours, I particularly like the black & white set shown here. I modified the puzzle to be a 31 piece puzzle to make it slightly harder. It is a hard puzzle to build as it is. I included a Test stl file so you can print a known pair of interlocking pieces and test for clearances before you set out to print the complete puzzle. Pieces have been design with no clearances so you will need to give it an XY offset compensation of at least -0.05 mm for them to fit. Enjoy!!
Needs an XY offset compensation of at least -0.05 mm for pieces to fit if no infill is used. Some infills protrude the perimeter slightly so it may interfere with the clearance, if this happens, then use an XY compensation of -0.1 mm. You may also need to trim away the excess of your first layer. What worked for me was to use a single perimeter wall and a concentric 5% infill such that there are no infill corners on the sides of the piece. You can use no infill and two perimeter walls if you wish but it will take longer to print. The file with the largest number of pieces should print in a little over 2 hours with the smaller one taking only 1 hour with a layer resolution of 0.3 mm. The Test file should print in only 30 minutes.
