Great Design! I think if you reduce the diameter of the long bar in the middle (the bar of the 2 legs), you will be able to add some steps in the oval circle so the phone can stay up straight. I would be happy to contribute if you can share your 3d model as a project (I use fusion 360...). Really great start tho!

Printed. It doesn't hold the phone upright enough. There's no reason for the slider. The picture shows it in an unrealistic pose. When you put a phone against it, the backing will be pushed back and the other piece will slide up the slot. Need some other design approach.

Very neat design, but in practice the phone's angle can only be adjusted slightly, because the shaft goes all the way to the top of the long slot when the phone rests on it.

I wanted to use my phone as a webcam so I needed a much more upright angle. So I designed a removable insert to fill the top of the slot, and now I can achieve a much wider choice of angles with this thing. Only downside is that the insert must be removed to fold the thing flat.

Photo of my modification (white plastic thing at the top) attached. If anyone is interested I will upload the stl.

Yes pleasde upload the mod :) Thanks

Meh, good concept but flawed implementation; straight to recycling bin

Great item. It works great. Amazing and genius design. Congratulations.
I wanted to say thank you for a really great design.
I printed mine out with a Robo 3d R1 Plus, PLA using the settings you set in your posting. I really like it.

Just printed mine, and I'm using it upside down, works amazingly well.

Is it supposed to be printed upward? Great design btw, this will be my first single piece with components

Hi, The case is printed upwards as shown in the 3D model, but the phone holder should be printed flat.

Hi

First of all I have to say that it is a great design.

But I have to ask about the top/bottom layers. Why the number 2?

kind regards

Hi, glad you like it :)

2 layers worked for me, but you can chose to print more top/bottom layers :)
