On the commercial one that I have the mass of the spinner is critical and has to be adjusted using very small weights. Even the temperature the day you are using it can make a difference. Perhaps you need a way of adjusting the tops mass?

where did you buy that magnets?

amazon, aliexpress. Just look for Neodimium

ok. thanks

Have you maybe found a working configuration yet?
I really want to print something like this!

not yet, i've not time right now... but i'll like to make a support with customizable distance for the magnets.. to find the correct position.

Have you seen a working model of this idea? I'm pretty sure I've never seen a stable levitator using only permanent magnets.

Thanks for the suggestion.. but right now i'm making a adjustable base where i can change the distance from the center and the inclination of magnets.

try adding a magnet on the bottom as well it might help

I'm glad to see how many people like this project... but right now is not working.
I'm trying to print something stable... but a lot test are needed.

Thanks again

Right now the 2 base printed gave no good result.
I'm thinking to a modifiable base to find the correct distances and magnets location.

Maybe that is need to make new top with different size and barycenter.

I'm trying to make something stable :) I see a youtube video that use 6 little magnets on the top... still researching.

Great, I'm wondering if this idea will work with normal disk neodimium magnets, maybe two row of circles?

Just Uploaded v2 spinning to.. i'm fixing on the way :)
