This pretty shape is a mathematically describable 3D shape that I turned into a lamp. It can be printed in a single print with only limited support needed, which also comes of very easily.
The lamp shade has an adapter that fits the IKEA lamp cord which has a 40mm thread and a E27 bulb thread!
The support should be zigzag with a big raft (6mm inside and outside) in order to get a good print result and avoid the print coming of the build plate before it's finished.
Be careful when removing the support as the holding structure is quite filigree!
I used a wall count of 2 and only 5% infill to ensure the light still goes through the structure.
The print took about 11h on my Anet A8!
The 0.25mm resolution is mainly to speed up the build job. I used 210°C hot end temperature to assure material strength. It was printed in PLA.
