Can someone tell me: did you print without supports? because it seems impossible to remove them afterwards without breaking the rose :(

Nice design! I made a fixed version that is made solid and has a minimum wall thickness of 1 mm: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:806132

Jillian's Rose Fixed (Made Solid With MeshMixer)

The flower portion was a pretty epic print, but it's very nicely designed for printing.

Can you upload a fixed printable version of the rose petals ? please

Good day, I did not have problems printing this with replicatorG. I am not familiar with Netfabb or Slic3r. If someone has a fixed version they can send to me, I will upload it. Otherwise, I will need some time to try and fix it. I can reverse all the surfaces as Arvin mentioned but I don't know if my tools would make it better or more of the same.

Beautiful! Netfabb wouldn't repair "Rose Leaves" and Slic3r said no surfaces found, so I loaded it into Sketchup and found the surfaces were all reversed. Flipped them and it all sliced nicely.

Now all I have to do is find an appropriate color of filament and 5 hours of available printer time! I have plenty of time till her birthday so I'm good!

Thanks for sharing.

Finally printed one! Only got to ~97% before the rose popped off the heated bed! Still looks great and the wife agrees!

in nett fab clic on the red cross, "edit" select all triangle" clic on "flip selected triangles" apply repair, delete old parts, export as stl, done, printable

easy !

Awe. My girlfriend will really like that, and I'll have finally made use of dual extrusion. Thanks!
