Would this design work in petg too ?

I haven't tried petg... but if its not brittle then should be fine.

It's not brittle like pla, but I was afraid it would not be stiff enough. I have printed the 0,4 mm holder and it seems flexible enough to cover 0,4-0,8 line.
I haven't done a field test, the print is for a friend.

It seems my line is 2.0mm and doesnt fit :(

yep, i need a 6 or a 7, mine gets caught in the groove as its too thick

thanks!!! i will print tomorrow and let you know

I modified design and made the cap 2mm (nr 7). I haven't printed it myself so if you can please test it and let me know if this is suitable (File attached). Thank you!

Hi, have you tried nr 5 (1.6 mm)? When i designed it, i tested it with 10 DT Doublehander fly line (that was the biggest i own).

Hi ZiinFishing, Will you release the files for your newer version?

Congrats!. Great idea and thank you for sharing with the community!.

Hiya! I have a 9 and 7 weight spey rods what numbers should I print for those? (Running line is 0,52mm on 7# and 0,57mm on #9)

Also for a 7 and 8 weight single handed rods?

Thanks for making this!

You have mono/slickshooter running lines? for mono i think 0 = 0,4 mm will be good but normal line 1 = 0,8 mm is better.
for single hand WF lines nr 2 and 3 are my favorites :)

What number corresponds to a #6 line? Thanks!!

Hi, nr 3 will be good for #6 WF line.

I can't seem to find any line diameters on company websites and I don't have calipers... I want to print one for my 5wt switch 380 grain and one for my 6/7 spey 450 grain with 20lbs mono running line. Any ideas on which ones would be the best? I was going to print out a 0, 1, and a 2 to test them out. If you have any recommendation before I started printing them that would be awesome! Great Idea!! Love it!

0 size was designed for mono and slickshooter running lines. For 5wt line sizes 2 or 3 should be fine. Thanks and happy fishing! :)

Great item, thank you! For an Aitflo Miracle Braid (0.9 mm diameter) would you print the 0.8 or the 1.0?
Many Thanks, Paul

Thanks! I think 0.8 would be better as shooting line is slick and 0.8 will give better grip.

Brilliant! This is going to be printed immediately. Hope it does work. Thank you!

Thanks! Try it out :)

really like this idea definitely, I will give it a try :) thanks!
