I have read reviews of the A3 and looked at some You Tube review of the A3 and several commented on the stability. I had a flat / solid doors from some old kitchen cabinets so I cut one to fit under the A3 with about an inch to spare all the way around. When I built y machine I drilled holes in the bottom of the frame and attached screws down through into the wood. Solid as a rock. Almost. The bottom will still flex. the only way to cure this is it make a flange around the base where the covers for the motherboard and PS are located and screw those covers to the bottom. That would really stiffen things up. I haven't done it yet because I don't have a problem of movement when the machine is running. I only notice it when I lean on the top part when making adjustments etc. Even then it will only flex about .030". I use a dial gauge attached to a mount across the X rails that I made to measure bed flatness.

Oooohhh... I like this! I've been trying to find ways of making my A3 as stable as I could, never thought of attaching it to a surface.
